A Research on Development in Fault Diagnosis System Of Spacecraft Yang Hong Fax: +86 010 8378463 CAST China Abstract: Fault diagnoses SYSTCIT, (FDS) is of great importance in monitoring and controlling spacecraft in the ground control center. However there are still some problems remained unsolved in effectiveness and availability of the system. The paper introduces a new technology in development of FDS aiming at these problems. * Technology in development of FDS of overall spacecraft in system level. * Change, in the traditional building method of expert system based on knowledgable engineers, The design procedure of the spacecraft are combined with development of FDS, thus producing a new building method on the basis of the system designer of the spacecraft, and optimal arrangement on the telemetry point is created. * Combination of design technology of FDS in the objected -oriented way and reliability design and analysis of spacecraft, creating generalised fault tree conception for knowledge collection and expression, thus solving the main problem in knowledge collection. * Discussion on transformation from prototype, to practical system by development tools. * research on a real time and on-line FDS. All these achievements have been generally verified with the tests. The latest FDS will be first used in spacecraft assembly and test before applied to operation management. The new technology is of great help to the improvement of FDS effectiveness and availability.
